At Chillicothe Primary, we proudly serve over 550 students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Our state-of-the-art facility, opened in 2018, is home to a dedicated team of highly qualified educators who are passionate about helping every child succeed. As part of the Chillicothe City School District, we believe that every student can learn, lead, and make a meaningful impact, and that belief is at the heart of everything we do at CPS.

We are honored to be recognized as a designated STEM school by the state of Ohio. This recognition reflects our commitment to providing students with hands-on, engaging, and personalized STEM learning experiences that prepare them for the future. From robotics and podcast production to environmental science and engineering challenges, our curriculum offers dynamic opportunities that go far beyond the traditional classroom.

Our innovative programs, such as the Adventures in Innovation engineering curriculum and the Muddy Boots and Backpacks environmental science initiative, have received both state and national recognition. Through our VOICE program, students are empowered to take charge of their learning by choosing experiences that reflect their interests and goals. We intentionally incorporate the arts, community service, and real-world learning across all grade levels to create a well-rounded, meaningful educational experience.
